Grafton Lakes State Park Hosting National Trails Day Event

Grafton Lakes State Park will host its 14th Annual National Trails Day Event on Saturday, June 2, 2007. This event will include volunteer park patrons that join together for the day to restore and maintain the twenty five miles of trails throughout the park. A complimentary barbeque and raffle for all hard working, dedicated park volunteers will be provided.

National Trails Day was created to promote public awareness of and appreciation for America’s trails and the people who build and maintain them. Without the support of the volunteers and outdoor minded businesses our trails would disappear.

This family event is made possible through the donations of many community businesses. Donations, whether monetary or product donation would be appreciated. With a donation, a business logo will be shown on the flyer, advertising this event, and then distributed throughout the Capital District.

If you would like to be included, please contact the program coordinators no later than May 10th. Please make all donations out to Friends of Grafton Lakes State Park and send to:
